American mezzo-soprano Kayleigh Decker has a must-hear voice. A superb song interpreter, she was one of Caramoor’s Schwab Vocal Rising Stars, and gave a highly acclaimed performance for the Citywide recital series at Carnegie Hall.

Decker’s operatic triumphs include recent debuts with Staatsoper Hamburg, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Welsh National Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Dallas Opera, Festival dei due Mondi, and Opéra de Monte-Carlo in leading roles of operas by Rossini, Mozart, Handel, and Barber. Equally at home on the concert stage, she's been featured as a soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony, the Seattle Symphony, Les Violons du Roi, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and Orchestre de Paris.

Highlights of the 2026/27 season include her house debut as Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro for LA Opera, and her return to Staatsoper Hamburg as Zephyrus in Christopher Rüping's experimental musical theatre project Die Grosse Stille – a role she created in her house debut last season. On the concert platform, Decker will make debuts with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra in Handel’s Messiah (John Butt), the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra singing Haydn’s Nelson Mass (Carlos Miguel Prieto), the Holland Symphony Orchestra in Marx’s Verklärtes Jahr, and with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in Lili Boulanger's Faust et Helene. Decker returns to the Apollo Chorus of Chicago in Handel’s Messiah.
